Aterian is the consumer packaged goods company of the future. Through their proprietary technology platform, they build and scale products ranging from essential oils to refrigerators for sale on major ecommerce channels: Amazon, Walmart, Shopify, ebay, etc. Harnessing the power of data and an agile supply chain, Aterian builds, acquires, and partners with brands to create top-selling consumer products.

A changing definition of “fast delivery” #

Aterian recognized customers expect fast eCommerce delivery even amid a rapidly changing environment. Forty-four percent of consumers define “fast” as next day in 2022, compared to only 14% in 2020. Thirty-five percent of shoppers abandon online orders over slow delivery speeds.

Speed is costly: 45% of brands don’t offer fast shipping options because it makes total costs too high. And success depends on having inventory in the right place at the right time.

Aterian responds to customer demands, improves delivery speed and accelerates growth with Flexe’s Dynamic Fulfillment Program. The logistics program adds fulfillment centers closer to customers for rapid delivery. All without CapEx investments, fixed costs or long-term commitments.

Flexe analyzed Aterian’s network and guided location selection. The Flexe Dynamic Fulfillment Program connected Aterian with a provider focused on partnership with strategic locations capable of handling Aterian’s SLAs.

Aterian easily and quickly integrated 15 fulfillment nodes within the Flexe Logistics Network. Connecting through a single integration, the company monitors performance with the Flexe Logistics Platform. As the business grows and demand shifts, Aterian adds or removes capacity where required.
